ブラジルのコーヒー輸出業者であるCoimexは、2007/08年のコーヒー生産高が3,500万袋で国内消費高が1,730万袋であるという前提で、2007年7月末のブラジル国内在庫が290万袋まで減少するという予測を公表しました。

SAO PAULO (Dow Jones)--Brazilian coffee exporter Coimex said Tuesday Brazil
should have just 2.9 million 60-kilogram bags of coffee in private stocks as of
July 31.
"This is the lowest-case scenario we have right now, and it's what we are
expecting at this point," said Joao Carlos Hopp Jr., trade director for Coimex.
The figure is based on a 2007-08 crop estimate of 35.5 million bags, domestic
consumption of 17.3 million bags and green coffee exports of 24.5 million bags,
Hopp said. Brazil starts harvesting coffee in May.
"This is a coffee bull market given these low stocks," Hopp told a gathering
of roughly a hundred coffee executives and brokers.
